Standing nearly 43 inches tall from paw to shoulder and weighing an impressive 245 pounds, meet George, a Great Dane who looks more like a miniature horse than a dog. Daʋe Nasser and his Ƅeloʋed pet, ‘Giant George’, are often found lounging together on the couch. This oversized Great Dane is only four years old, but he already weighs an impressive 245 liters and stands almost 43 inches tall at the shoulder. George has a peaceful demeanor, earning him the nickname “gentle giant.” His length from nose to tail measures a whopping 7 feet 3 inches, which could position him as a potential record-breaker. GiƄson, the former record holder, sadly passed away from cancer last August. Guinness World Records is currently reviewing George’s information to determine if he is the new holder of the title. Daʋe points out that George is incredibly unique, as he measures exactly 42.625 inches at the shoulder. The furry giant eats around 110 liters of food each month and sleeps in a queen-sized bed, all to himself. Da’e and his wife, Christine, never imagined George would grow to be so big when they adopted him at just seven weeks old.
George is truly impressive as he measures over 7 feet long from nose to tail and weighs a whopping 40 pounds.
George, the giant dog, has grown so big that he now faces profiles that fit in the back of his owner’s SUV. Additionally, his owners had to move him out of his king-size bed when he outgrew it. Dr. William Wallace of Buena Pet Clinic in Tucson, who witnessed the Guinness World Records documentation, said George is the tallest dog he has ever seen in his 45 years of working with giant breed dogs. Although Daʋid is rushing to get the necessary documentation for the Guinness World Records, other dog owners are coming forward and claiming the record. While waiting for the results, George is enjoying his newfound stardom and even has his own Facebook fan page and Twitter accounts. It seems the sky is the limit for this mass hound.
