Unexpected Help
Mary forgot her wallet while shopping, but a boy named Mark offered to pay for her items. “Hold on, ma’am. You don’t have a lot of stuff. I’ll pay for it,” he said, showing his kindness. After paying, Mary asked for Mark’s phone number so she could repay him later.
Meeting Mark
When Mary got home, she told her daughter Anastacia about Mark’s kindness. Worried about his situation, Mary called him to arrange repayment. They visited his simple home and found out that Mark’s grandmother was in the hospital.

Mark explained that his grandmother needed a very expensive surgery and he was raising money through a GoFundMe. “She needs a big surgery, and I started a GoFundMe, but I’ve been trying to spread the word,” he said. Mary and Anastacia decided to help by sharing the GoFundMe link.
Spreading the Word
They visited Mark’s grandmother in the hospital and then shared the GoFundMe link everywhere they could. Anastacia even posted their story on Reddit and Twitter, hoping it would get a lot of attention. “Maybe it’ll go viral? Let’s try Reddit,” she said.
